Stefanos Tsitsipas displayed resilience and skill as he navigated a challenging encounter against Facundo Diaz Acosta to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Barcelona Open.

Diaz Acosta claimed the opening set, placing Tsitsipas under pressure, yet the Greek athlete rallied to secure a hard-fought 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(8) victory.

Tsitsipas’s triumph paves the way for a semi-final showdown with either Arthur Fils or Dusan Lajovic.
