Nikos Oikonomopoulos, the No.1 performer of his generation, is celebrating his 40th birthday today, just days after a triumphant concert at the Panachaiki Stadium in Patras. Last Wednesday, Oikonomopoulos drew a crowd of over 13,000 to the stadium for a spectacular show marking the latest highlight in a career full of them.

The concert itself featured cutting-edge equipment, a highly impressive stage, and a large orchestra accompanying Oikonomopoulos’ unforgettable hits, creating a spectacle rarely seen in the country. Oikonomopoulos performed all his hits, old and new, culminating with the massive hit “Ekptoto Agelo” (Fallen Angel) which has taken the country by storm. His success in Patras follows sold-out tours in America, Europe, and Australia and a record-breaking winter season in his home venue.
