Far-right activist Tommy Robinson was located in Athens after taunting Cypriot authorities by revealing that he had already fled his luxury hotel in Cyprus.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been accused of inciting riots in the UK through inflammatory social media posts.

Robinson posted a video from a restaurant in Athens, enjoying a lamb dish while ranting about his disrupted family holiday. His location was uncovered by an X account named “GB News Spin Room,” which identified the restaurant by analysing background details in the video.

Robinson had previously been in Cyprus, where he claimed his life was at risk after his holiday location was leaked. He left the island after Cypriot police announced their readiness to assist British authorities in his extradition. In response, Robinson posted on X that he was no longer in Cyprus, taunting his followers and the authorities.

Despite his emphasis on personal security, Robinson made no effort to disguise his location in the video, which was later identified as Mavro Provato, a popular restaurant in central Athens. Robinson retweeted the location reveal, adding praise for the restaurant.

It remains unclear if Robinson is still in Athens or if he has moved on. He later claimed on X that he was no longer in the city, mocking a journalist for attempting to meet him there.

Robinson, known for his far-right activism, continues to use social media to share controversial content with his nearly 900,000 followers on X. Despite his past ban from the platform, he was reinstated last year by Elon Musk. His posts have reportedly garnered over a billion views in recent months.

British authorities, while not naming Robinson directly, have warned that social media influencers inciting violence will face extradition if found to have committed offences.
