Violent Altercation Leaves Three Injured at Halkidiki Beach Bar

A violent clash between several individuals at a beach bar in Halkidiki, northern Greece, resulted in three people sustaining injuries on Friday night.

According to initial reports, a group of Bulgarian nationals engaged in an argument and subsequently attacked the Bulgarian owner of the beach bar. The assailants punched and kicked the victim in the face and body.

Law enforcement units (OPKE) were summoned to the scene but waited outside until gunshots were heard from within the bar. Upon entering, the police detained five men identified by eyewitnesses who had observed the assault.

Authorities discovered that two of the suspects had sustained gunshot wounds - one to the chest and the other to the arm. Both were transported to a local hospital and are currently receiving treatment under police supervision. The individual shot in the chest is reported to be in serious condition, while another man is believed to have suffered multiple head injuries from the physical altercation.

Four bullet casings were found on the floor of the bar, and the police are investigating the incident. The motive behind the attack remains unclear at this time.
