In an intense and thrilling match at the Australian Open, Damir Džumhur and Petros Tsitsipas secured their spot in the second round of the doubles competition.

The duo defeated the Indian-Polish pair of Anirudha Chandrasekar and Karol Drzewiecki in a closely contested battle, emerging victorious with a score of 2-1, clinching the sets 7-6, 2-6, 7-6.

Petros Tsitsipas is the only Greek to win the Australian Open this year and continue in the tournament, after his brother Stefanos and Maria Sakkari were eliminated from the first round in singles.
