TikTok officially goes offline in the US

All 170+ MILLION users now receive a message when opening the app praising President Trump for indicating he will work with them on a fix when he takes office.

TikTok officially shut down, and users can no longer access the app. CapCut has also suspended U.S. services as ByteDance refuses to sell its companies.

The ban may be temporary, as President-elect Trump said on Saturday that he is considering implementing a 90-day extension. “The 90-day extension is something that will be most likely done. It’s appropriate. We have to look at it carefully. It’s a very big situation,” Trump said. “If I decide to do that, I’ll probably announce it on Monday.”
