Police have arrested a man after a 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach yesterday morning.,
Just after 9.30am yesterday, police and emergency services were called to a house in Malurus Avenue, after reports that a man had fired a shot through a window and hit a boy inside the house.
The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Following investigations Western District Detectives arrested and charged a 21-year-old man from Lockleys with attempted murder, firearms offences and trafficking in a controlled drug. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court this morning.
