Old El Paso and NK Foundation donate 25,000 Mexican meal kits to Foodbank Australia

By 3 years ago

As reported on GCT, the NK Foundation founded by Greek-Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios, teamed up with Old El Paso to ‘Make Some Noise for Australia’.

Every time an Aussie player played a match in Melbourne (between 31st January to 21st February 2021), Old El Paso and the NK Foundation pledged to donate 100 meal kits to support vulnerable Australians via Foodbank Australia.

Now that the summer of tennis in Melbourne has wrapped up, so has the initiative.

"Together with my friends at @oldelpasoaustralia and my @NKFoundation we’ve reached our goal of donating 25,000 Mexican meal kits to be donated to @foodbankaus, which will help feed thousands of vulnerable families around Australia," he posted on Instagram.

"Really proud of my game and even prouder to have played for a good cause.”

"Thanks to the legends @lleytonhewitt89 @alexdeminaur @samstosur @matt_ebden @daria_gav and @johnwpeers and all the fans for showing your support and helping us Make Some Noise for Australia. Keep it up!" he concluded.
