New flight links central Greece with Crete from June 15

A new and highly promising flight service connecting two major urban centres of Greece, the city of Volos in central Greece and the city of Heraklion on Crete, will be launched in a few days, on June 15.

The new air route was presented at the Volos state airport at Nea Anchialos by the president of Magnesia Chamber, Aristotelis Basdanis, and the president of the air carrier Sky Express, Theodoros Krokidas.

The new flights begin on June 15, taking off from Volos twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, and tickets start from 39.30 euros.

Heraklion.

The Tuesday flight will depart from Volos at 22:40 and arrive in Heraklion at 00:10, while that on Friday will depart from Volos at 10:55 and arrive at 12:15.
