Blue Air is now operating 17 weekly flights from Bucharest to Athens, Heraklion, Mykonos, Rhodes and Zakynthos.
“Blue Air is connecting Greece with all regions in Romania through five one-stop services between Athens and five key Romanian cities, via Bucharest Otopeni: Cluj Napoca, Iasi, Oradea, Suceava, Timisoara,” the carrier said.
For the first time in its 16-year history, Blue Air is also operating a direct daily service to Athens.
“We are truly happy with our Greek network opening this year as this was a very highly demanded market by our customers. Starting with this Summer 21 Blue Air is not only launching its first direct service to Greece, but it is becoming the largest airline between the two markets to the benefit of our customers who can now enjoy more travel options at affordable prices,” said Blue Air Chief Commercial Officer Krassimir Tanev.

On her part, Athens International Airport Communications and Marketing Director Ioanna Papadopoulou welcomed Blue Air’s daily service to the Greek capital.
