Stefanos Tsitsipas is into the third round after beating Frances Tiafoe

Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas downs Frances Tiafoe 6-3, 6-4, avenging his Wimbledon first round loss to the American. Round of 16 bound in his Olympic debut.

Winning 90% of 1st serve points helped Stefanos Tsitsipas serve up cold revenge on Tiafoe. He won 6-3 6-4 with each set taking 39 minutes. Their Head to Head score  is now 4-1 in Stefanos’ favor.

Tsitsipas, who is also entered in mixed doubles with Maria Sakkari, will play France’s Ugo Humbert or Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia for a spot in the quarter-finals.
