Jared Leto Makes History as First Solo Male to Grace Vogue Greece Cover

American actor and musician Jared Leto has made history, becoming the first solo male to appear on the cover of Vogue Greece and, furthermore, the first solo male to ever appear on any European Vogue cover.

Looking every inch the rock star, Leto appears on the November 2021 cover of the prestigious glossy monthly wearing an elaborate baby pink feathered top and white gloves.

In subsequent shots inside the magazine, the 49 year old Thirty Seconds to Mars singer cuts a striking figure wearing eyeliner and lipstick with a crisp white suit.

In a photo highlighting Leto’s showmanship, was also captured wearing a glittering black coat which he paired with baggy trousers.

The collectible issue of Vogue Greece November, which is published this Sunday 31 October, writes history with its first solo male cover as Lets poses in front of the lens of Chris Colls in what Vogue Greece has called the most “unpredictable cover story of his career.”

In the internal feature article, Leto talks in depth to Sarah Bailey about his eccentric style, the iconic band Thirty Seconds to Mars, his militant mother and his new film, House of Gucci in which he undergoes an incredible transformation to play the role of Paolo Gucci opposite Lady Gaga.

"Incredibly grateful to @voguegreece for having me as the first solo male on a European Vogue cover," Leto posted, promoting the November issue of Vogue Greece on his Instagram account.

Fans gushed in reply upon seeing the photos.  "Incredibly stunning, just wow," enthused one fan in the comments section of Leto's post.

Meanwhile others were not as sure about Leto’s look.

“Why does he literally look like a present-day Jennifer Connelly though?” one person asked in confusion.

In addition to his work modelling, Leto has been keeping plenty busy with a spate of new movies, including Sony Picture’s Long awaited Marvel vampire movie Morbius which is scheduled to hit theatres on January 28, 2022.
