Hundreds dressed as Santa run in Athens to raise charity (VIDEO)

Hundreds of people dressed up in red and white Santa Claus costumes for the seventh annual charity run in the Greek capital.

They ran a 2-kilometre course around Athens Olympic Athletic Centre.

For the first time, organisers provided children with outfits of the beloved Christmas figure.

The entry fee is €12 euros each, but most of the money raised comes from corporate sponsorships.

This year’s proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Greece foundation to grant the wishes of critically ill children.
