Australian Prime Minister invites Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Australia

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese invited his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis to visit Australia, during their brief meeting where they spoke of bilateral matters and the 'Greek connection', on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Madrid, Spain.

The Greek Prime Minister met with US President Joe Biden and other foreign leaders, such as Emanuel Macron, Boris Johnson and the Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, during the dinner hosted by the King of Spain.

According to government sources, US President Joe Biden and Kyriakos  Mitsotakis discussed his recent visit to the United States,  expressing satisfaction with the success of the prime minister's trip  to Washington and the excellent level of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Mr. Mitsotakis also had a short discussion with the President of France Emanuel Macron on  issues pertaining to the agenda of the NATO Summit.
