A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck near the island of Lefkada in western Greece on Sunday afternoon according to the Athens-based Geodynamic Institute.
The institute stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was registered 4 kilometers southwest of the island, at a depth of 14.6 kilometers
