On Tuesday night, residents in Halicarnassus in Heraklion could not believe their eyes when they saw a... Christmas tree, and indeed an illuminated one.
The sight made several citizens wonder... what month we have and about the situation.
"Christmas in Halicarnassus!; The Municipality of Heraklion remembered us a little early this year!; and The Christmas tree is lit in Agios Nikolaos, in Nea Alikarnassos; What's going on, guys? We're going to go crazy," residents of the area were quick to comment on Creta Live.
