Air India takes step closer to Greece expansion by appointing GSA

Air India, one of India's premier air carrier has appointed Asian Aviation as the general sales agent for Greece, Air India current operates flights through out Europe and has an impressive share in the India Europe sector.

Through this move airline aims to expand its footprint in Greece as it also one the most famous travel destinations amongst Indian travellers, As the GSA for some of the top airlines in the globe, Asian Aviation has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Greek aviation scene.

The airline earlier used to be operated by GOI and later it was sold off to TATA. After the takeover by TATA, Air India is going through a significant transformation through a 5 year plan through the roadmap created by Vihaan.AI.

The airline aims to compete with top players around the world with a touch of Indian Hospitality. Air India is also an member of Star Alliance which has its presence all around the world and provides the airline with a worldwide connectivity.

It should also be reminded that the first phase, the taxi phase of the transformation is already over which included fixing the basics of the airline and post which the airline also placed an humongous order of around 470 aircraft to Airbus and Boeing.
