The reports about Karpathos from the British Media are increasing, given the international tourism exhibition WTM in London.
The second largest island of the Dodecanese was visited by award-winning Instagrammers Anne and Mike Howard, who have held the record for "World's Longest Honeymoon" since 2012 and continue to this day visiting over 70 countries on six continents.
Karpathos is on the list of the six most romantic and sustainable destinations on the planet by the list on Mike and Anne Howard's popular Honey Trek blog, trusted by hundreds of thousands of couples with travel interests.
In addition to Greece, the list also includes French Polynesia, Costa Rica, Bhutan, Slovenia and Mexico. In another extensive feature on the destination during the same period, Silver Travel Advisor, the most popular website for travellers aged 50-65 with quality interests such as traditions and gastronomy, states that Karpathos impresses with its hundreds of churches and exotic beaches, the dozens of miles of walking trails and the brilliant sunshine of more than eight months.
