A 36-year-old man has been arrested for the possession of hundreds of files with child pornography material. The man was arrested in Thessaloniki by police officers in the Electronic Crime Unit of the Hellenic Police. Many of the files, according to the case, depicted children aged 6 to 13 years old.
An investigation preceded the arrest, during which police traced the man's electronic trail. Following a search of his home, where the material was found, the suspect was arrested.
The 36-year-old was prosecuted for supply, possession and distribution of child pornography material.
