The current wave of bad weather in Greece, marked by “Atena,” is set to give way to the new storm, “Boris.” This new weather system is expected to bring rain and thunderstorms, initially affecting Western Greece starting on Friday.

“Tomorrow, Thursday, will see a brief weather reprieve.

From Friday, a new low-pressure system named ‘BORIS’ is expected to bring a new round of rain and thunderstorms, primarily affecting Western Greece.

Additionally, temperatures will drop by 6-8 degrees, and winds will strengthen from the west and northwest, reaching up to 7 Beaufort,” Giorgos Tsatrafyllias wrote.

Kolydas: Slight Temperature Drop for the Weekend
The head of the National Meteorological Service (EMY), Theodoros Kolydas, forecasts a slight temperature drop over the weekend.

“A minor and temporary drop in temperatures is expected over the weekend and into early next week, but it will not be significant. Normal temperatures for the season will follow, with no major fluctuations, and some rain in the latter half of the month,” Kolydas stated on X.

Generally clear weather with local rain and possible thunderstorms in eastern and western regions. Temperature will rise, particularly in the mainland. Winds will reach 4-5 Beaufort in the seas.
