According to the victim, “They asked where we were from, and when we said we were from another area, they looked at us differently. As we were heading to catch the bus, 15 to 20 people gathered around us. They initially demanded our mobile phones, and when we refused, they began to hit us.”
During the chaos, the attackers stole the mobile phone, bag, and wallet of an underage friend of the victim before fleeing the scene. The 18-year-old was later treated in the emergency room for significant injuries, including broken teeth, torn gums, and stitches.
Authorities have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the assailants. So far, they have arrested a 25-year-old suspect in connection with the attack.
