By 5 years ago

The NATO accession of the Republic of North Macedonia will be put to a vote at Greek Parliament today, Friday.

This follows Thursday's majority approval by the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence of the draft bill "Protocol of the North Atlantic Treaty for the Accession of the Republic of North Macedonia", thus opening up the way for the draft bill to go to the plenary of the Greek parliament.

The works of the Committee were completed on Thursday evening.

A plenary session debating the draft bill is expected to begin on Friday at 10 am, while a vote has been scheduled for the same day at 10 pm.
