The Municipality of Athens set up a large flower heart in Syntagma Square, for the celebration of Protomagia.
The heart has been shaped using red petunias, symbolising the solidarity to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
This year's Protomagia will be celebrated differently compared to previous years, however, this did not mean some colour couldn't be added to the city centre as Greeks today celebrate the last month of Spring.
Events for Labor Day have been postponed to the first Saturday after the lifting of the measures, on May 9.
