By 3 years ago

Vaccinations against COVID-19 will begin in a church in Crete in an effort to convince the faithful to protect themselves against the pandemic.

According to Creta24, the Parish of Agios Nikolaos Archanes, health workers and the municipality of Acharnes Asterousia will carry out vaccinations against the COVID-19 in the church.

Vaccinations will be given with the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine on Monday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Father Andreas Kaliontzakis said the purpose of turning the church into a vaccination centre was "To convince those who have confused theology with science."

As he said, there is interest from several people who want to be vaccinated.
