Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias hosted a dinner in the city of Alexandroupolis on Thursday for the four Christian Orthodox Metropolitans and the three Overseeing Muftis of Thrace.
This is the first time a Greek foreign affairs minister meets with both Christian and Muslim religious leaders.
The event took place on the eve of International Human Rights Day.
It also served as a message that Christians and Muslims can live together peacefully in Thrace.
