ATHENS: Pakistani taxi passenger had half a kilo of cannabis on him

Police saw something suspicious with a passenger in a taxi, who panicked at the sight of them. Everything happened in the workers’ residences of Agia Varvara, at the junction of Makrygianni and Voute streets, shortly before 4 in the afternoon on November 18.

The taxi driver stopped the car immediately at the signal of the police. Officers removed the driver and the Pakistani passenger and checked the vehicle. A bag containing the drugs with a total weight of 558.5 grams was found carefully hidden in the back and lower seats.

The Pakistani was arrested.
