A recipe for chicken biftekia that can easily and quickly be made without much effort to feed healthy and fill at least eight people...
Materials for chicken biftekia:
1 kg of leg and breast chicken mince
One fresh onion, finely chopped
Two cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp. tablespoons of strained yogurt
One green pepper, chopped
½ tsp. ground sweet spice
½ tsp. sweet oregano
a little olive oil for frying
Salt and Pepper
For the sauce
One medium onion, grated
Two cloves of garlic
Two medium tomatoes, grated
a few mint leaves
½ tsp. sweet birthday
2-3 tsp. olive oil soup
Salt and Pepper
Step 1
Place the minced chicken in a large bowl, add the garlic, onion, pepper, allspice, oregano, yogurt and salt and pepper. Knead the mixture so that the ingredients are well combined.
Step 2
Form small patties and cook them in a non-stick pan with a little oil until they are golden brown and cooked through so that they are not pink in the centre.
Step 3
Meanwhile, sauté the onion and garlic in a saucepan with a little oil. Add the tomato, parsley and mint, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve the burgers with the sauce and some yogurt on top.
