Woof Festival is a great celebration where people and dogs will have unique and unforgettable memories with surprises, gifts, games, and interactive events. The co-organiser of the big festival is from now on the #1 site for pets in Greece, Topetmou.gr.
The experience will be truly unforgettable. For two days, animal welfare organisations, veterinarians, groomers, trainers, and dedicated volunteers who love and care for animals will meet in the Pedion tou Areos, turning the centre of Athens into a place of recreation and information.
Visitors can start their walk from the Animal Welfare Associations of Attica and the companion animals that are up for adoption and looking for their forever home. Their volunteers, who are involved in rescuing strays, educating guardians and raising awareness, especially of children, will be there to discuss and inform the public.
At the same time, there will be demonstrations, competitions, games, workshops, character tests, grooming, a Dog Snack Bar and many other surprises that will delight guardians and their dogs.
The competitions that will surely steal your heart are for the happiest tail, the funniest face, and the smartest tricks.
The venue will have large, specially designed tracks to host the National Agility Team, dog frisbee, dog dancing, obedience, and many other fun and educational demonstrations. Guardians and their four-legged friends will love these demonstrations as they will include an obedience Team, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Therapy Dogs, and Greek Breeds. Finally, there will be a demonstration of First Aid and CPR.
If you are a game lover, you will find your paradise here. Throughout the festival, there will be games for visitors and dogs, such as Treasure Hunt, Musical Mats, Do As I Do, Street Races, and Spoon Races, with many prizes for the winners.
For dogs, there will be Grooming and Bathing, character tests, paw printing, and pet portraits. There will also be fun Face Painting and Photo Booths, a bazaar, VR, and interesting workshops.
