Australia's Ambassador to Greece, HE Ms Alison Duncan, met with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on Thursday afternoon in Athens, ahead of the Patriarch's visit to Australia in October 2024.
The Australian Embassy in Greece shared the following in a social media post:
"The Ecumenical Patriarch will be visiting Australia in October 2024 to mark the centenary of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. This will be his second visit as Ecumenical Patriarch and the first in almost three decades.
