During his visit, Ambassador Venizelos, accompanied by Greek Consul General Emmanuel Kakavelakis, has engaged in discussions with key officials from the state of Victoria, including Premier Jacinta Allan. In the coming days, he is also set to meet with prominent figures from the Greek-Australian community in Melbourne.
A major focus of Ambassador Venizelos’s visit is to explore strategies that can increase engagement among younger Greek-Australians in preserving their heritage, particularly in learning the Greek language and understanding their cultural history.
