The latest tremor, a 4.5 magnitude quake, struck at 7:10 pm local time on Tuesday, adding to the growing anxiety in the area.

This latest quake follows a series of tremors, most registering between 3 and 3.5 magnitude. The epicenter of the 4.5 magnitude quake was located 24 km southwest of Arkessini, Amorgos, at a depth of 14.1 km. While this is the latest significant tremor, the region experienced a 5.0 magnitude quake earlier in the sequence.
