Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance's MP responsible for development and investments Alexis Charitsis held the government responsible for rising prices in basic goods.
"On July 16, we submitted a query in parliament about profiteering phenomena and price manipulation, which cause explosive price increases in food, energy and raw materials," he said on social media on Saturday.
"All this has fallen on the government's deaf ears.
"Its obsession with the dogma of market self-regulation is costing us dearly."
