Krabo-beach
It was high time someone brought a touch of Mykonos-like glamour to the Athenian Riviera.
Krabo, nestled in the small cove of Zoskos in Vouliagmeni, may not boast pristine waters or endless stretches of sand, but it certainly captures the island vibe.
Opened in June 2018, Krabo offers three distinct experiences: the beach, the lounge, and the restaurant. The well-known Agiostratitis brothers, venturing out from nearby The Margi hotel, saw potential in this underdeveloped side of Kavouri.
If you want to soak up the sun and experience a Mykonos vibe (yes, the design does resemble Scorpios/Alemagou, but we dig it!), opt for the sun loungers downstairs (40 EUR set) or sunbeds further up (50 EUR each). Both require reservations, so call ahead. Alternatively, the lounge area operates on a first-come, first-served basis and enjoys sunshine until around 2 pm. You can enjoy breakfast (think delicious toasted sandwiches or yogurt with granola/fruits) until noon or all-day snacks (club sandwiches, rib-eye skewers, tuna tortilla wraps) until 8 pm. You can pre-book the sun loungers at Sun, Sand, and Serenity: Booking Greek Beach Bliss with Plazz
A Culinary Journey at Krabo:
The main restaurant’s menu features a delightful mix of flavorful starters and expertly grilled dishes. While we haven’t sampled everything yet, here are some highlights:
The Krabo Vibe:
As the night unfolds, Krabo comes alive with a cool summer breeze caressing the decks. The music plays at a comfortable volume, creating the perfect atmosphere for friendly conversation and laughter with your friends. For the best experience, gather a larger group and create lasting memories.
