A domestic violence incident in Kordelio has resulted in a woman's arrest.
Following a fight with her 35-year-old partner, a 34-year-old woman allegedly stabbed him in the abdomen with a household knife. The man was reportedly attempting to disarm her during the altercation.
The injured partner was transported to Papageorgiou Hospital for surgery. The woman, who called the police herself, was located and arrested in the hospital's waiting area.
She now faces charges of domestic violence causing serious bodily harm, illegal possession of a weapon, and weapon use. The case will be tried under the standard legal process in Greece for serious crimes.
