Over 100 illegal immigrants arrive on Lesvos

 

As the island of Lesvos tries to recover from the recent 6.1 Richter-scale earthquake a new wave of illegals and refugees arriving on the island has been reported.

According to Greek authorities more than 100 migrants and refugees arrived on Lesvos in the last three days while no arrivals were reported in the same period on the islands of Chios and Samos.

Police said on Monday that the number of migrants and refugees that have sought asylum and their request has been not examined yet reached 9,116.

The numbers: 3,299 on Lesvos, 3,899 on Chios and 1,918 on Samos.
