European Athletics Championships: Stefanidi Takes Silver in Pole Vault

With a jump of 4.78 meters, Katerina Stefanidi secured the silver medal at the European Athletics Championships.

Greece has now earned its second medal at the championships.

Following Miltos Tentoglou’s gold, Katerina Stefanidi claimed silver in the pole vault this evening, clearing 4.78m after a thrilling battle with Switzerland’s Angelica Moser, who also cleared the same height.

The Greek champion successfully cleared 4.78m on her second attempt. This is the fifth consecutive medal at the European Championships for the great Greek athlete, and the 12th overall in her illustrious career.
