Christoforos Papakaliatis was urgently admitted to the private healthcare facility “Hygeia” yesterday morning (12/06/2024) under strict confidentiality, after suffering from severe stomach pains. According to the report by Espresso newspaper and journalist Nikos Nikolis, the well-known actor and screenwriter entered the private healthcare facility due to severe discomfort.

Initially, the attending doctors recommended that the actor undergo an MRI and an ultrasound of the upper and lower abdomen to determine the causes, which might be attributed to either the intense stress of recent days due to “Maestro” or the anxiety caused by his father’s health ordeal.

However, almost none of the people in his circle (even his colleagues in the series are unaware) are currently informed about his health status and how it is progressing for the actor and screenwriter.

His loved ones are anxiously awaiting all updates about his health and are eagerly listening to the doctors’ words for a clear picture of the creator’s condition.

On October 21, 2024, the director’s father had been hit by a motorcycle driven by a minor in the area of Agios Ioannis Knosos in Crete. Manolis Papakaliatis was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at Venizeleio Hospital and underwent three surgical operations.

On Friday (11/29/2024), Manolis Papakaliatis was discharged from Venizeleio Hospital in Heraklion, Crete, and is now continuing his treatments at a rehabilitation center in Athens.
