Near-final results from Greece indicate that the governing center-right New Democracy (ND) party is leading comfortably in the EU Parliamentary election, securing just under 28% of the vote. This, however, marks a decline from the 33% they achieved in the previous election—a benchmark the party leadership had hoped to meet in Sunday’s poll.
