According to Deadline, Focus Features has taken over the film's distribution in America, Universal Pictures in the rest of the world, and CJ ENM in Korea.

The ninth feature film by the Greek director is expected in cinemas on November 7, 2025.

‘Kinds of Kindness’

Lanthimos' latest film ‘Kinds of Kindness’ premiered at Cannes in May and is his third feature-length film with Emma Stone. They also reunite with Willem Dafoe.

Kinds of Kindness follows “a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”

According to Lanthimos, the idea for the film had taken on multiple narrative forms over the years, eventually evolving into an anthology as they wrote it with Filippou.
