The Cretan Association is hosting a Book Launch of a biography about the life of the prominent Greek and Cretan politician, statesman and revolutionary Eleftherios Venizelos.
Eleftherios Venizelos was arguably the greatest leader in the history of the modern Greek state and oversaw many great developments for Greece and Crete during his career.
The biography was written by Professor Nikolaos Papadakis, General Manager of the Eleftherios K Venizelos Research Foundation in Chania, who we will be welcoming to Australia for the event along with Professor Giorgos Koukourakis from the Foundation.

The night will also feature a performance by the Cretan Association’s dancing group.
There will be light refreshments served at the event including traditional Cretan Canapes.
