Border tensions rise as illegal immigrants construct battering rams to push their way into Greece

Even though Turkey has announced the closure of its land border posts with Greece and Bulgaria, ‘invasion attempts’ by illegal immigrants are still happening on the Greek Evros border.

Last night, the border guards had to deal with a deluge of illegal immigrants using battering rams to push their way into Greek territory.
