However after a hotel worker in Melbourne, Australia, tested positive for COVID-19 at a tournament quarantine hotel, the game has been cancelled.
As many as 600 people associated with the Australian Open, including Greece's star, Stefanos Tsitsipas, have been told to isolate and await a negative test result, after being identified as casual contacts of the quarantine hotel worker.

Health Authorities have advised us that a hotel quarantine worker has tested positive for COVID-19.
Those associated with the Australian Open who quarantined at the hotel now need to be tested and isolate until they receive a negative test result.
We will work with everyone involved to facilitate testing as quickly as possible.
There will be no matches at Melbourne Park on Thursday 4 February 2021. An update on the schedule for Friday will be announced later today.
Greece’s ATP Cup 2021 journey begins
Team Greece began their ATP Cup journey yesterday at Rod Laver Arena.
It was Team Greece vs Team Australia.
First up was Michali Pervolarakis. Unfortunately he lost against John Millman 6-2,6-3.
Following, Stefanos Tsitsipas played Alex de Minaur. The Greek star won 6-3,7-5.
For doubles, Pervolarakis and Tsitsipas versed John Peers and Luke Seville. Team Australia won 3-6, 6-4, 5-10.
