“Τhe green digital certificate, the rapid tests and self tests will be used for voyages with ferries,” Greece’s Shipping and Island Policy minister Yiannis Plakiotakis announced on Tuesday.

He said that ferries with cabins will start with 55% occupancy and 50% for ferries without cabins.

Health protocols will be reviewed and updated according to the course of the epidemiological data.

“In close cooperation with the Health Ministry’s agencies, of the National Public Health Organisation and the epidemiologists, we will market targeted interventions in the reviewing of the health protocols,” Plakiotakis added.

“We hope that through the reform of the health protocol and the progress of the vaccinations, to have an immunity wall in the summer in order to be able to experience some normalcy”, he stressed.

New ferry line will connect Thessaloniki and Sporades island

A new ferry line will connect Thessaloniki with the Sporades islands with three routes a week, from 1 June to 15 September.
