Roma protestors block Patras – Corinth highway

A group of Roma protesting the death of the 20-year-old who was shot by police during the bloody altercation in Perama Athens, yesterday blocked a section of the Patras – Corinth highway at the height of Rododafni in Aigio.

Police and Fire Brigade units arrived  at the scene, while traffic was being diverted.

The national road Patras – Pyrgos remained closed, at the height of the Sageika area of ​​Achaia, also blocked by protesters, as well as in the area of ​​Vrachneika.

Police remain in the area, while traffic was redirected.
