The first Chanel store in Athens is a fact, and the emblem of the historic French brand will now be located on Voukourestiou Street.
The brand which has been synonymous with the concept of the upper class since 1909, opens its doors at Voukourestiou Street 13, next to the boutiques of Louis Vuitton and Prada and opposite that of Dior, with a new two-story store coming to enrich the emblematic street of Athenian luxury shopping.
Chanel's new venture in Greece is done in collaboration with the Kasnakidis family, with whom, since 1994, it had developed an exclusive relationship in Linea Piu. The well-known store has remained at 6 Sekeri Street since 1986.
The French, honouring this collaboration, chose to proceed to the new boutique with the same successful method, with the aim of capitalising on the strong interest that exists today in Athens for luxury products mainly thanks to the increase in tourism.
Despite the fact that, for decades, major competitive brands had already opened their stores in Athens, Linea Piu largely covered the interest of the Greek public. After all, the stories surrounding the Sekeri Street store and Chanel products are numerous and representative of the brand's very devoted clientele.
It is now clear that Chanel is increasing its interest in Greece. The new investments made in collaboration with the Kasnakidis family emphasise the historic boutique's willingness to create luxury shopping destinations.
Thus, the Chanel boutique in Athens is not the only big news for the brand in Greece.
Two more openings have already taken place: A Chanel boutique in Nammos Village, the well-known shopping concept on the beach of Psarrou, as well as the Fragrant & Beauty Event, a separate Chanel space, specialising in the brand's beauty products and perfumes.
The seasonal boutique in Nammos Village
The boutique extends over two floors and 140 square metres and echoes the traditional Cycladic architecture, while it has two terraces furnished with outdoor furniture.
Within an environment of a palette of whites and neutrals with warm fabric accents and mirrors that enhance the abundance of natural light, a range of new season bags and shoes are on display, along with sunglasses, watches and jewellery, the collection Chanel Coco Beach and all the latest collections.
The seasonal Chanel boutique in Mykonos is open from May 30th to September 30th.
A Fragrance and Beauty event at Nammos Village
On June 1, 2023, CHANEL launched the first fragrance and beauty event at Nammos Village. The new 40 square metre space presents the brand's entire universe of fragrances and beauty, along with a range of exclusive products and services.
Summer essentials include the latest Les Beiges Summer ToGo collection and an exclusive eyewear collection. Special edition perfumes from the Les Exclusifs de Chanel and Les eaux de Chanel series are also available.
Special consultation areas, where customers can enjoy a personalised experience, are comfortably furnished with chairs and mirrors, while personalised appointment services for nails application, make-up, grooming and fragrance advice are offered by a dedicated Beauty Confidant.
The first fragrance and beauty event at Nammos Village runs from June 1 to October 8, 2023.
