The phenomenon was visible from Attica and Rhodes, said readers who contacted Proto Thema. Some even contacted the Civil Aviation Authority.

Some even talked about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

The satellites are all seen moving together like a "train" after launch until they reach within 550 kilometres of their normal orbit. Then they spread out and are not easily visible with the eye.

The Starlink company provides Internet services through a network of hundreds of satellites. It is an effective solution for those who live in remote areas without fast Internet.

Satellites are in low Earth orbit so speeds are as fast as possible. For this reason, however, more than many satellites are required to fully cover the planet.

Starlink currently has over 4,000 satellites and have the prospect of over 40,000.
