Last year Jeff Bezos celebrated in the Cycladic Islands; this year, he went to the Ionian Islands. On Wednesday, his group saw him on the island of Kastos near Lefkada. They arrived on the island by tender from the billionaire businessman's yacht "Koru".
It is a phenomenal yacht, 127 metres long, with three masts that reach a height of 70 metres. Its construction cost $500 million, a mythical amount for some but not for the owner of Amazon.

With a personal fortune estimated by Forbes to be close to $163 billion, Bezos wanted the best for his seaside getaways. This summer, he is sailing the Ionian Sea with his partner Lauren Sánchez.
On Thursday morning, the "Koru" docked outside Ithaca, Bezos' next vacation stop.
Koru costs about $25 million a year to run and is valued at $500 million. The yacht can accommodate 18 guests - and requires a crew of 40 sailors. 'Koru' was added to a fleet of superyachts, helicopters and planes already owned by the businessman.
The aluminium and steel schooner reportedly has three decks and a swimming pool.
The smaller support vessel adjacent to the mammoth yacht includes a helipad for Bezos or his celebrity guests. This smaller yacht is also expected to be loaded with luxury cars, jet skis, speedboats and a personal submarine, the Daily Mail reports.
