The best Lada Niva in Europe is in Greece!

Although never famous for its reliability, the Lada Niva is one of the cars that has acquired a special connection with the Greeks.

You want its unique off-road abilities (when it works) and its low price; the fact is that the Niva name still significantly impacts the Greek market.

One of the best preserved Lada Niva in our country, if not Europe, is in Grevena.

As you can see from the photos, it is the car that Metropolitan David of Grevena uses for his travels.

This is a perfectly logical choice if we consider the road network of Grevena and the problematic areas to which the venerable Metropolitan must reach.

However, what is surprising is the level of maintenance at which this particular Lada Niva is located.

Without exaggerating, it looks like it just rolled off the production line, as it is in excellent condition, with no bodywork flaws and the complete absence of even a hint of rust. Even the plastic seals around the body look like they are new.

The blue Niva is really of the "box", not only in the body, which does not have the slightest scratch but also in the living room, which, although spartan, is also in perfect condition.

The Metropolitan David of Grevena (born Konstantinos Tzioumakas) was born in Litochoro, Pieria 1958.

He studied pedagogy at the Pedagogical Academy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which he graduated in 1979, and then received his degree from the Pastoral Department of the Theological School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1983. He became a monk at the Holy Monastery of Agia Theodora of Thessaloniki in 1980, serving as Abbot's advisor until 1982.
