Giannis Antetokounmpo has agreed on a three-year, $186 million contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Giannis could have been a free agent in the upcoming summer, but now he can have this option in the summer of 2027.
The player himself announced the contract extension.

Things changed for the Bucks after the addition of Damian Lillard.
Before that, Giannis and Milwaukee didn’t have a deal in place, and everyone assumed that the Greek Freak was ready to test free agency in the summer of 2024.
That wasn’t the case, and Giannis now has the chance to stay in Milwaukee throughout his career since he will be 33 years old in 2027.
