Greece Raises 600 Million Euros at Lower Yield in T-bill Auction

Greece successfully raised 600 million euros in a 52-week Treasury bill auction, achieving a yield of 3.34%, the Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) announced on Wednesday. This marks a decrease from the previous auction in May, where the yield stood at 3.73%.

The total bids amounted to 1.147 billion euros, with a coverage ratio of 2.29 times the asked sum of 500 million euros. Ultimately, Greece accepted bids totalling 600 million euros.

The auction, conducted through Primary Dealers, saw offers accepted up to the requested sum, along with non-competitive bids totaling 100 million euros.

Settlement for the auction is scheduled for June 7, with no additional non-competitive bids accepted on June 6.
